World Pharmacist Day
World Pharmacist Day 25th September 2023, was celebrated at Prasanna College of pharmacy, Laila, Belthangady. The celebration beganed with invocation song and lamp lightening was done by chief guest Shri Sridhar KV, President of Chemist and druggist association Belthangady. Sridhar KV Sir addressed the students about the role of pharmacist in Pharmacy practice. Today’s function guest of honor Shri Dr. Prashant Bk , Principal, Prasanna ayurvedic College and hospital delivered a informative talk about theme Pharmacists strengthening the health system. Dr. M. Mallikarjuna Gouda Principal addressed the students that the pharmacy profession meets wide range of elements of the health sector and reduces the pressure and saved the time of other health workers in the health system. Students took the pharmacist oath and celebrated the pharmacist fest with cake cutting. The awareness procession was carried by students in ujire to known public that the Pharmacist strengthening the health system. During rally Students said the slogans like Angdaan mahadaan, Pharmacist. guarantee save health system. Finally, students and staff felt happy with Pharmacist day celebration.

Onam Festival
In the golden memories of the Onam festival and joy, the Prasanna college of Pharmacy, Laila, Belthangady called the Onam celebration on 26th august 2023 to mark unity and equality among the student community. Welcomed Onam with a chanda mela by the students in the courtyard of the campus. Festival inaugurated with lamp lightening by Chief guest Sujit Bide President , Pharmacist association , Dakshina kannada, Dr. Sandeep MBBS, MD Paediatrics and Dr. Ananya Lakshmi Sandeep MBBS MD Community medicine. There are many programs and traditional competitions such as making rangoli with flowers, Fashion show , tug of war, spoon race, etc were organised as part of the celebration. Prasanna college of Pharmacy also arranged an Onam Sadya for the students and staff. Students participated in the programs with great enthusiasm and joy. The onam celebration ends with a cultural event at the campus.

Safe Medicines Disposal and Antibiotic Resistance Awareness Campaign
On the eve of National Pharmacy Education Day – 6th March, the Prasanna College of Pharmacy, Laila Belthangady. Organised the Safe medicines disposal and antibiotic residence awareness campaign at Gurwankeri and Navoor village. Dr. M. Mallikarjuna Gouda Principal Prasanna College of Pharmacy delivered motivational speech to students regarding medicines disposal and antibiotic resistance. All students went to door to door house in Gurwankeri and Navoor village and educated the public about medicine storage , returning un unused medicine to pharmacy and various methods of safe disposal of unused and expired medicine. Students also explained the problems faces with over and frequent consuming of antibiotics. Students conducted this programme with enthusiasm and each student actively participated and successfully completed the programme.

Annual Day 2022
PRASANNA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, BELTHANGADY, DHARMASTALA. Strives to celebrate the cultural diversity in the college in the name of PRASANNA FEST 2K22. K. GANGADHAR GOWDA Ex- Minister, chairman of Prasanna education trust is a Chief Guest and guest of honour of function is MR. KIRAN HEBBAR Administrative officer, MR. AKILESH principal of Prasanna ITI College. Our chairman K. GANGADHAR GOWDA sir inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and addressed the cultural programmes will create a platform that provides the students a lot of opportunities to show their talents in variety of events and competitions. Teacher and Student Coordinator of the Cultural Committee take a lot of efforts to plan, to organize the various events and competitions in the college.

Annual Day Sports Meet 2022
PRASANNA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, Laila, near DHARMASTALA. Celebrated the annual sports day. Our chairman K. Gangadhar Gowda sir ex- Minister, is a Chief Guest and inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. And addressed the students sports is not a curricular or co-curricular activity but it is an integral part of life. Athletic and game events were organised. Medals were distributed to the winners. The evening ended on a high note with a look of accomplishment and pride on the faces of the students.

Tree Plantation Programme
PRASANNA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, Laila, near DHARMASTALA. Organized the Tree plantation programme as a part of NSS activitie in college campus. Principal, teaching staff, Non teaching staff and students planted more than 50 saplings in our herbal garden. Principal addressed the students about importance of tree planting. Finally programme ended with photo session.

World Health Day Celebration
Prasanna College of Pharmacy had organised the World Health Day celebration with the theme “Our Planet, Our Health” on 7th April 2022. The function was inaugurated with lamp lighting by our Administrative Officer, Mr. Kiran Hebbar. Chief guest of the function, Dr. Prashanth KS delivered an informative talk on “Our Planet, Our Health”. Dr. M. Mallikarjuna Gouda, Principal of Prasanna College of Pharmacy encouraged the participants to utilize the information gained and implement it in life. The special guests of the function were Mr. Frank Hiliary, Principal of Prasanna CBSE Residential School and Mr. Akilesh K, Principal of Industrial Training Institute. A poster presentation competition was conducted on the auspicious occasion. Ms Afnaz anchored the programme, Ms Malusha welcomed the delegates and Ms Diya proposed the vote of thanks.
